Kenora Forest Management Unit Management Plan (2001-2021)
Notice to the Public

Introduction to Public Participation

The public have the opportunity to make comments to the Audit Team at any time until the final Audit Report is submitted to the Ministry of Natural Resources. This is expected to occur by mid February of 2004. For convenience, a questionnaire has been provided that highlights the major areas of a forest audit. The word document can be saved to your computer where you can then add your comments and include in an E-mail to the Audit Team for consideration. Additional comments or questions can also be submitted to the Audit Team.

A draft copy of the 'Independant Forest Audit Process and Protocol' has been provided as a guide to the public in understanding the scope and intent of the audit process and the role of the audit team. The purpose of an 'Independant Forest Audit' is to ensure that Ontario's Forests are managed sustainable for today and the future.
